Touchstone Pictures has acquired Dennis Osborne’s comedy, “Boomerang,” for a low- against mid-six figure sum.
Larry Brezner and Mike Marcus of management/production entity Morra, Brezner, Steinberg & Tenenbaum will produce, with Agi Koh serving as exec on the project.
“Boomerang” focuses on a woman who moves back home with her parents, turning their lives upside down. Disney’s Todd Garner, Mark Vahradian and Jeff Clifford will oversee the project for Touchstone.
Osborne previously sold the spec “Crossing Belmont” to Scott Rudin at Paramount.
Osborne was repped on the deal by Jeff Okin and Garth Pappas of Metropolitan Talent Agency and attorney Gregg Homer.
