Jo Champa (“La Famiglia”) and John Cassini (“Seven”) have joined the cast of George Zaloom’s “The Whole Shebang,” starring Stanley Tucci and Bridget Fonda.
Champa, an American actress who grew up on Italian soil, modeled during her teen years before making her first film appearance in “Salome,” the 1986 Cannes entry based on the tragedy by Oscar Wilde. The following year, Champa appeared in the Oscar-nominated “La Famiglia” (“The Family”). Champa’s other film credits include New Line’s “Don Juan DeMarco” starring Johnny Depp, and Bernardo Bertolucci’s “Little Buddha.” She is repped by Mayo/Gregg Management.
Cassini’s upcoming films include WB/Bel Air comedy “Chain of Fools” (formerly titled “Shiny New Enemies”) starring Steve Zahn, Jeff Goldblum and Salma Hayek, and “Get Carter” starring Sylvester Stallone. His previous credits include Polygram’s “The Game” and the indie “The Falling.” The actor is repped by Artist Management.

Rory Cochrane has joined the cast of “The Prime Gig,” for Cary Woods’ Independent Pictures and New Line.
Currently lensing, pic focuses on scamming telemarketers and stars Vince Vaughn, Ed Harris and Julia Ormond. Legit helmer Gregory Mosher (“Speed the Plow,” “Glengarry Glen Ross”) makes his feature debut on the project.Cochrane is onscreen in Joel Schumacher’s “Flawless” starring Robert De Niro. His previous credits include Richard Linklater’s “Dazed and Confused” and Paramount Classics’ “The Adventures of Sebastian Cole.” The actor will next appear in Adam Collis’ “Sunset Strip” for Fox 2000. Cochrane is repped by Beth Holden at Propaganda and attorney Jeoff Oblath.

Josie Davis (“The Young and the Restless”) is the newest addition to Aaron Spelling’s nighttime sudser, “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Davis will play a fashion designer and friend/mentor to Tori Spelling’s aspiring couturier character. She is repped by Premiere Artists Agency and BW Entertainment.

Dylan Neal has been signed to star opposite Chuck Norris in CBS’ “The President’s Men,” exec produced by Norris and Aaron Norris. Lensing is under way in Dallas.
Neal will portray a highly trained soldier recruited to replace a retiring professor (Norris) and be part of a training operative to groom a new “president’s man.”
Neal, who starred on last season’s WB drama “Hyperion Bay,” has spent this season juggling recurring roles on “Dawson’s Creek” and “J.A.G.” Neal’s deal was negotiated by Pakula/King & Associates and Himber Entertainment.
