Norman Reedus (“Six Ways to Sunday”), Elodie Bouchez (“The Dreamlife of Angels”), Mark Boone Junior (“The General’s Daughter”) , Camilla Overbye Roos (“Titanic”) and Patrick Bauchau (“Twin Falls Idaho”) will co-star in the indie “The Beatnicks” for writer-director Kevin Williams. Stephanie Danan and Paul Hahn serve as producers. Pic follows the comedic adventures of two bohemian misfit poets, both named Nick.Reedus, who last appeared in Sony’s “8mm,” will next be seen in WB/Village Roadshow’s “Gossip” and Franchise Pics’ “Boondock Saints.” Separately, Boone has also inked to do “Memento” with Carrie-Ann Moss and Guy Pearce, and will appear in Steve Buscemi’s “Animal Factory.” Previous credits include Buscemi’s “Trees Lounge,” “The Game,” and the indie “Everything Put Together,” recently announced as part of this year’s Sundance lineup. Boone is repped by Michael Greenwald and Renee Jennett of Don Buchwald & Associates. Roos’ credits include Ridley Scott’s “White Squall,” and the indies “On the Border” with Casper Van Dien, and “The Contract” alongside Louise Fletcher. * * *Bianca Lawson (NBC’s “The Temptations”) has landed a recurring role on WB’s “Dawson’s Creek,” as the daughter of the high school principal. Also an aspiring filmmaker, Lawson’s character will provide some competition for fellow cinema buff Dawson (James Van der Beek). Lawson will appear in Paramount’s teen drama “Save the Last Dance” with Julia Stiles and Sean Patrick Thomas, and Grant Mitchell’s “The Pavilion” opposite Craig Sheffer and Patsy Kensit. She is repped by Don Buchwald & Assoc. and manager Ken Christmas.
* * *Sean Whalen has joined the cast of “Perfect Murder, Perfect Town,” the CBS telepic about the tragic death of JonBenet Ramsey. He will play a tabloid reporter tracking the case. Marg Helgenberger and Ronny Cox are set to play parents Patsy and John Ramsey. Whalen was last seen in Fox 2000’s “Never Been Kissed” and Col’s “Idle Hands.” He is repped by Don Buchwald & Assoc. and manager Marcie Hartley of Cornice Entertainment.
