Tony-winner Alan Cumming (“Cabaret”) is bolstering his film resume. The legit star is in final negotiations to join the Sylvester Stallone-starrer “Get Carter,” WB’s gangster thriller. Cumming will play nemesis to Stallone’s revenge-bent mobster.
Stephen Kay directs the remake of the 1971 pic. Miranda Richardson, Rachael Leigh Cook and Michael Caine co-star. Marc Canton, Neil Canton and Elie Samaha produce.
Cumming takes on two roles in Universal/Amblin’s “Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas” — the Great Kazoo, and the stone age version of Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger. Other upcoming projects include Julie Taymor’s “Titus” which Fox Searchlight just snatched domestic rights to, and Doug McGrath’s “Company Man.” The busy actor is currently onscreen in the indie caper pic “Plunkett and Macleane,” opposite Robert Carlyle and Liv Tyler.

Prankster Tom Green of MTV’s “The Tom Green Show,” Rachel Blanchard (“Sugar and Spice”), and Ethan Suplee (“American History X”) join “American Pie’s” Seann William Scott in Montecito Pictures/DreamWorks’ “Road Trip,” about college students traveling from one campus to another in an attempt to intercept a video accidentally sent to an unsuspecting girlfriend. Blanchard will play the unintentional recipient of the oh-so revealing tape. Ivan Reitman exec produces and Todd Phillips directs. Lensing is skedded to begin next month in Georgia.
Green, who garnered attention for performing outlandish — and often gross — hijinks on his show, recently signed a feature deal with Touchstone Pictures to write and act in projects for the banner. He is repped by William Morris.
Blanchard, who starred in the UPN series “Clueless” (based on Amy Heckerling 1995’s pic) last appeared in MGM’s “The Rage: Carrie II.” She is repped by CAA. Suplee is currently lensing the football pic “Remember the Titans.” He is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates.

Jack Noseworthy has signed on to John Waters’ “Cecil B. Demented” about a film director who kidnaps A-list starlets for use in his underground Super-8 movies. He joins Stephen Dorff, who stars in the title role, Melanie Griffith as a snatched thesp and Alicia Witt, Demented’s g.f.
Noseworthy recently wrapped Universal’s actioner “U-571” alongside Matthew McConaughey and Harvey Keitel. Previous credits include “Event Horizon,” and Col’s “Idle Hands.” He is repped by Endeavor.

Marco Hofschneider has been added to the cast of Phoenix Pictures’ “Urban Legend 2” for director John Ottman.
Hofschneider made his bigscreen debut in 1990’s critically acclaimed “Europa Europa” and has since appeared in Columbia’s “Immortal Beloved” and New Line’s “The Island of Dr. Moreau.” He repped by Abrams Artists Agency and Propaganda.
