Fest unveils latenight slate

  • “But I’m a Cheerleader,” a gender-bending comedy from director Jamie Babbit and Fine Line that showed in Toronto.

  • “I.K.U.,” an experimental, sexually graphic takeoff on “Blade Runner” featuring sexual androids directed by Shu Lea Cheang.

  • “Psycho Beach Party,” director Robert Lee King’s screen adaptation of the long-running cult theater production.

  • “Spike and Mike’s Sick and Twisted Animation,” a compilation program to be announced.

  • “The Convent,” a horror thriller from director Mike Mendez (“The Killers”).

  • “Human Traffic,” Justin Kerrigan’s intense look at the club culture in Wales. Picked up in Toronto by Miramax.
