NEW YORK — Lisa Kudrow is negotiating to play the female lead alongside John Travolta in “Numbers,” the romantic comedy that Nora Ephron will direct this fall in a co-production of Paramount and DreamWorks.
In the Adam Resnick-scripted comedy, Travolta will play a down-on-his-luck everyman who gets involved in a lottery scam. The film’s being produced by Andrew Lazar, Jonathan Krane, Sean Daniel and Ephron, with Mac Brown exec producing.
Kudrow, last seen on the bigscreen in the Warner Bros./Village Roadshow Pictures hit “Analyze This,” will be able to divide time between the film shoot and her role on the NBC sitcom “Friends” because “Numbers” is being shot around L.A. and on the Paramount lot. Kudrow is repped by Endeavor and managed by Scott Howard.
