Dunst, Caan in ‘Luckytown’

Tyro director to helm indie

Kirsten Dunst and James Caan have committed to topline indie producer Emilio Ferrari’s latest pic “Luckytown.”

Tyro feature director Paul Nichols will helm and co-produce in conjunction with Mediapix and Ferrari’s A Plus Entertainment. Adam Goldworm and John Rogers will serve as exec producers.

Lensing begins Dec. 13 in Vegas.

Story follows a young man and woman at a crossroads in their lives: The woman is looking for her father; the man wants nothing but the free-wheeling lifestyle.

Co-stars are Jennifer Gareis, who recently left sudser “The Young and the Restless,” and Luis Guzman (“The Bone Collector”).

Dunst is repped by William Morris; Caan by CAA.
