Bening will address UCLA grads

'Siege' thesp to present keynote; Cates receiving Pickford nod

Annette Bening will don cap and gown Saturday to deliver a keynote address to the grads of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television.

The stage and screen thesp most recently starred in the pics “In Dreams” and “The Siege.” She also headlined the Geffen Playhouse production “Hedda Gabler.” And this fall, she will be seen in DreamWorks’ “American Beauty” opposite Kevin Spacey.

Producer-director Gilbert Cates will also be feted at the commencement ceremony with the Mary Pickford Award, the UCLA honor given annually to a distinguished biz professional.

Cates is best known for his long-running producing stint of the Academy Awards show.

The TV and film school will graduate some 250 students in Perloff Quad on the Westwood campus Saturday at 9 a.m.
