Pola Changnon has been upped to executive producer of Cartoon Network Online.
In her new position, Changnon will oversee the Web site’s Atlanta-based team of producers, writers and technical staff, as well as New York-based developers at Funny Garbage.
Together with veep and creative director Sam Register, Changnon will also oversee the development and production of all Web Premiere Toons created for the site.
Prior to joining Cartoon Network, Changnon was a producer for San Francisco-based Colossal Pictures, working on such projects as “Small-Minded God,” an animated online series for the Microsoft Network, as well as Disney Channel strips “The Mix Ups” and “Frankenguy.”
Before that, Changnon was a creative executive for Nickelodeon Movies, where she was part of the original team of Nickelodeon’s feature film division.
Cartoon Network Online launched in 1998, as an online spinoff to cabler Cartoon Network, which reaches 58 million homes.
