Pacific Title/Mirage Studio Inc., has tapped William Plant as prexy of the f/x shop’s digital division.
Plant, formerly head of production at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop in London, will supervise all production.
He brings with him the Performance Control System, a proprietary resolution indie animation tool enabling the creation of digital human characters. He developed the system independently after leaving Henson.
Additionally, PTM has named Andrew Tucker, as head of production, for the f/x shop’s digital division. He previously held positions at Discreet Logic and Soft Image.
And Adam Howard will be joining the company as visual effects supervisor. He most recently served as a freelance visual-effects supervisor on “Star Trek: Insurrection.”
