E! Online today launches what it describes as an “edgy” redesigned Web site, offering expanded coverage of the film, television and music industries.
Site (www.eonline.com) includes a new section called E! Online Plus, enabling visitors to explore other entertainment sites recommended by E! staffers, as well as read new columns including “Scoop,” “Out & About,” “Fashion Police” and “Celebrity Sightings.”
E! Online said the site offers faster download times and an updated search engine that enables users to search for interviews, trailers or other audio and video clips featuring a specific actor. Site will offer thousands of searchable audio and video files.
“Since we cover Hollywood, it only makes sense that we give ourselves a bit of a cosmetic overhaul — a nip and a tuck,” said E! Online editor-in-chief Lew Harris.
