Jim Wiatt has been named president and co-CEO of the William Morris Agency today. and his tenure begins immediately.
The announcement, made by WMA CEO Walter Zifkin, was expected (Daily Variety, Aug. 9.
With the news of Wiatt’s hiring, WMA prexy Arnold Rifkin announced that he will be resigning from the agency at the end of August. No other executive changes were announced, although insiders at William Morris and Wiatt’s former firm, International Creative Management, expect several client and staff changes in the next few months.
