Chris Day, former vice president of Hollywood praisery Bumble Ward & Associates, has joined United Talent Agency as head of corporate communications.
Day, who will report to UTA chairman Jim Berkus and the percentery’s board of directors, fills a spot last held by Jennifer Noonan, who left the firm last year.
“Chris brings a unique blend of personal and corporate PR experience to UTA,” Berkus said. “This is an exciting time for UTA, and we’re delighted that he has joined our agency.”
During his three-year tenure at Bumble Ward, Day handled publicity for such clients as feature directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly, Jay Roach and Clive Barker; television producers David Chase, Kevin Williamson and Chris Brancato; television series “The Outer Limits” and “The Magnificent Seven”; actresses Megan Mullally and Farrah Fawcett; and corporate clients Trilogy Entertainment Group and MGM Television.
Day also had a hand in the film campaigns for DreamWorks’ “American Beauty” and the large-format pic, “Everest.”
Before joining Bumble Ward, Day served as a senior account executive at Davidson & Choy Publicity, where he repped both entertainment and corporate clients. He began his entertainment career in 1989, as one of the establishing staffers of Ken Sherman & Associates, the Gotham legit and corporate entertainment praisery.
