Diana Schulz has been tapped VP of corporate development and strategic planning for Universal Studios.
Schulz will work closely with senior execs across all U divisions to develop global strategic business opportunities.
“I am delighted to recognize Diana’s contributions to Universal’s growth and look forward to her playing an even larger role as we go forward,” said William Sutman, U senior VP and chief financial officer.
Schulz joined U in 1997, rising to her most recent level of senior director. During this time, she was involved with redesigning and managing the studio’s strategic planning process, as well as the company’s Internet and theme park ventures.
Prior to her U hire, Schulz served for six years in the L.A. offices of management consulting giant McKinsey & Co. and held similar spots at Microsoft and Bain & Co.
