Two rise at Industry to talent managers

Exex to rep actors, writers, directors and musicians

Management and production entity Industry Entertainment has upped former assistants Alissa Vradenberg and Peter McGrath to talent managers.

Prior to her promotion, Vradenberg served as assistant to Industry co-chair Keith Addis. Before joining Industry, she practiced entertainment law with the L.A.-based firm Troop, Meisinger, Steuber & Pasich.

McGrath came to Industry in 1997 from the William Morris Agency. He worked most recently assisting talent manager Eric Kranzler.

Industry Entertainment (formerly Addis-Wechsler and Associates) reps actors, writers, directors and musicians. Clients include thesps Tobey Maguire and Jeff Goldblum.

In addition to talent management, Industry Entertainment is in the second year of a three-year first-look production deal with Fine Line and New Line.

Joint projects with New Line

Among the films Industry is currently making with New Line are “Fifteen Minutes” and “Cinderfella.” Currently in post-production, “Fifteen Minutes” stars Robert De Niro and Ed Burns; it’s due in theaters in the fall. “Cinderfella,” a remake of the Jerry Lewis comedy, is in development.

Under that production deal, Industry is also producing “The World I Made for Her,” to be penned and helmed by this year’s Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner, Tony Bui (“Three Seasons”).

Industry is also making “Quills” for Fox Searchlight. Philip Kaufman helms the pic, which stars Geoffrey Rush, Michael Caine and Kate Winslet.
