Patty Stonesifer, current prexy and chair of the Gates Learning Foundation has been elected to the board of directors at CBS Corp.

“As the computer and the Internet take ever more dynamic roles in the home, we will continue to grow our role in the new media that delivers content to our many audiences,” said CBS prexy and CEO Mel Karmazin. “We look forward to the new dimension Patty’s thinking will bring.”
Prior to joining the Gates Learning Foundation, Stonesifer was a Microsoft senior VP.
