HOLLYWOOD — Following recent acquisitions, Paramount announced that Gary Holland has been upped to VP of advertising and promotion for Paramount’s Domestic Television Division.
Under his new title, Holland will supervise the daily operations of the division’s on-air and radio activities for firstrun and off-net programs, including the recently acquired Spelling Entertainment and Worldvision properties and the division’s distribution of Rysher properties. Additionally, he will oversee the division’s NATPE and Promax sales presentation as well as the episodic promotion of six off-net show launches set for fall 2000.
Holland previously served as executive director of advertising and promotion for the division. Prior to joining Paramount in 1993, he served as senior promotion manager at WRC-TV in Washington, D.C.
