Par TV names Mischler exec VP

Marketing head will o'see all ads, promos for syndie arm

Mike Mischler has been named exec VP of marketing for Paramount Domestic Television.

Mischler will oversee all advertising and promotional efforts for Par’s syndie arm, whose program slate includes syndie strips “Entertainment Tonight,” “Hard Copy,” “The Montel Williams Show,” “Real TV” and “Leeza.” He reports to division co-prexys Joel Berman and Frank Kelly.

Cohen ankling

Mischler succeeds Meryl Cohen, a 12-year Par vet who has inked a TV development deal with the studio.

Mischler joins Par from the marketing agency Pittard & Sullivan, where he was exec VP of strategy and planning. He’s also served stints as a marketing exec with Ticketmaster and CBS, where he was senior veep of advertising and promotion.
