MTV tunes Robinson to exec VP

Exec to direct network standards

Carole Robinson has been promoted to executive VP, communications for MTV Networks.

In her new position, Robinson will be responsible for directing all of the MTV Networks’ corporate communications, as well as overseeing network standards and public responsibility.

She will continue to collaborate with all of the company’s divisions on network priorities and communications issues.

Robinson, who joined MTV in 1984, was most recently senior VP, communications for MTV Networks.

Robinson will continue to be based in MTV Network’s headquarters in New York City. MTV is owned by Viacom.
