Littlefield, Hunegs join AtomFilms

Exex to serve on advisory board for 'Netcaster

Former NBC Entertainment prexy Warren Littlefield and Warner Bros. Television executive veep Craig Hunegs have joined AtomFilms’ corporate advisory board.

The execs will serve as advisers in content programming for AtomFilms, as well as focus on building relationships with traditional media companies for broader distribution for the Seattle-based ‘Netcaster, which specializes in broadcasting short films online.

Littlefield is prexy of the Littlefield Co. and a board member of online music distrib Launch Media Inc. He will advise AtomFilms on content programming, distribution and syndication.

“AtomFilms has created an exciting niche in online entertainment for the technologies of tomorrow,” Littlefield said. “I look forward to transferring my experiences as a broadcaster to a new medium.”

Hunegs, executive veep, business and financial affairs for Warner Bros. TV, will focus on leveraging his experience in content acquisition, production and distribution.

Littlefield and Hunegs join advisory board members Martin Tobias, founder and CEO of Encoding.com; Warren Franklin, prexy and CEO of Pinnacle Studios; and Johan Liedgren, CEO of Honkworm Intl.

“They are excellent additions to our prestigious board of corporate advisers, sharing years of professional dealings in the world of entertainment distribution, programming and production,” said Mika Salmi, founder and CEO of AtomFilms.

AtomFilms.com launched earlier this year and features a library of more than 200 short films, which it broadcasts online and sells to cablers, airlines and other Web sites.
