“Letterman” producer Jude Brennan has been named to the newly created position of senior VP, programming, Oxygen Media.
Brennan, who is VP of creative affairs for David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants Inc. and producer of CBS’ “Late Show With David Letterman,” will join the company in January.
In her new position, Brennan will oversee the television programming schedule for the company’s new female-targeted cable network, which will launch Feb. 2. Based in both L.A. and N.Y., Brennan will report to the partners of Carsey Werner Mandabach.
Breadth to Oxygen
“(Jude) has been at the head of one of television history’s most successful talkshows, and we know she will bring the same depth and breadth to her new position at Oxygen,” said Carsey Werner Mandabach partner Caryn Mandabach.
Brennan has worked with Letterman for the past 20 years and has held numerous positions within Worldwide Pants. “I have a tremendous amount of affection and respect for Dave and all of my colleagues at Worldwide Pants and appreciate the support they have given me with regard to my new career direction,” Brennan said.
