Horseshoe Bay vet Rosen now sr. VP of Fox prod’n

New exec 'first-rate developer'

Former Disney-based producer Josie Rosen has been tapped as senior VP of production at Twentieth Century Fox. She will report to Tom Rothman, prexy of Twentieth Century Fox Film Production.

“She is a first-rate, experienced developer of material with excellent taste and writer relationships, particularly in the comedy arena,” Rothman said. “We are very pleased to have her join us.”

She replaces Michael Jenkinson.

She previously served as prexy of Horseshoe Bay Prods., where she worked with producer Gary Foster (“Sleepless in Seattle”) and writer-director Mark Steven Johnson (“Simon Birch”).

She most recently co-produced “Gloria.”

Prior to the formation of Horseshoe Bay, Rosen worked with Foster for five years and was involved in the development and production of “Tin Cup,” “Just Cause” and “Desperate Measures.”

She also worked at Sandollar Prods. as director of development.
