Hearst taps Harris as licensing topper

New director to focus on 'Family,' 'Beetle,' 'Hagar' strips

NEW YORK — Hearst Entertainment has tapped Pamela Harris as director of licensing, responsible for sales efforts on King Features licensed properties.

A former licensing manager of Art Impressions, Harris will now focus primarily on such King properties as “The Family Circus,” “Beetle Bailey,” and “Hagar the Horrible.”

A 17-year veteran of the licensing industry, Harris has developed and launched licensing programs for companies such as Fox, Lorimar-Telepictures, Carolco Pictures, Galaxy Entertainment, Sony Signatures and Spumco Inc.
