Greenwald Prods. taps HBO’s Gill

Exec to o'see projects for cable, network TV and film

Former HBO Pictures exec Paula Gill has been tapped as director of development at L.A.-based Robert Greenwald Prods.

Filling a new position, Gill will be responsible for developing projects for cable, network TV and film. While working as a development exec at HBO, Gill worked on the telefilms “Gia,” “The Rat Pack” and “Lansky.” Prior to joining HBO, Gill was an agent assistant at ICM.

Greenwald Prods. has produced 37 theatrical, cable and network films in the past 15 years, including the upcoming ABC telepic “The Audrey Hepburn Story” and the feature film “Steal This Movie.” The company has numerous projects in development, including “Reviving Ophelia,” “Shot in the Heart” and “Stiffed” for HBO, “DWB (Driving While Black)” for Fox and “Blonde” for CBS.
