Fox Sports Oz taps Malone

Exec established Multi Channel Network

SYDNEY — David Malone has been tapped chief executive of Fox Sports Australia, the feevee channel jointly owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. and Kerry Packer’s Publishing and Broadcasting. It is carried on Murdoch’s and Packer’s leading feevee cabler Foxtel and UnitedGlobalCom’s rural feevee operator Austar.

Malone established Multi Channel Network, the company that manages advertising for channels carried on Foxtel and Austar.
