Fox Latin inks ad deal

Cablevision to o'see sales in Mexico

MEXICO CITY — Fox Latin America has inked a deal for Cablevision to handle ad sales for its three channels in Mexico.

Cablevision took over local ad sales for Fox Sports, Canal Fox and Fox Kids as of mid-July, the two companies announced today.

Jointly owned by Televisa and telco Telmex, Cablevision is the leading hard-wired cabler in the country.

Wireless operator Multivision — which is the single biggest pay TV system in Mexico — previously handled some ad sales for Fox channels, a Televisa source said. Multivision still carries the Fox channels.
