Fox Intl. TV ups Yen to veepee, finance

Exec to head up all accounting for int'l b'cast

Greg Yen has been upped to veep of international TV, finance and accounting, at Twentieth Century Fox Intl. Television.

Yen will oversee all accounting and financial activities for the company’s international broadcast and worldwide pay TV divisions. Reporting to Fox finance and business development senior VP Matthew Velkes, Yen will also supervise Fox’s equity interests in overseas movie channels.

“In the time that he’s been at Twentieth Century Fox Intl. Television, Greg has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage key business and financial responsibilities,” said Fox Filmed Entertainment studio operations prexy and chief financial officer Simon Bax. “This is a very well-earned promotion.”

First teaming with Fox in 1996, Yen most recently worked as the studio’s exec director of international TV. Prior to Fox, Yen served as senior financial analyst at Walt Disney Records. He has also spent three years as a financial analyst for Gallo Wines.
