Entertaindom may go public soon

Moloshok mentions jump into publicly traded companies

Warner Brothers Online prexy Jim Moloshok hinted Wednesday that upstart biz Web site Entertaindom, launched less than two weeks ago, could go public sooner than expected.

Speaking at the two-day ‘Net confab Jupiter Entertainment Forum at the BevHilton, Moloshok let slip, “(Warner Brothers) has always seen the Internet as a business — we just launched Entertaindom — it’s the right direction to spin off ‘Net divisions into publicly traded companies.”

Entertaindom, officially unveiled Nov. 28 with a weeklong streaming of new Metallica tracks, is one of three Internet hubs Warner Bros. Online plans to launch.
