AniManagement merges with Strader

Burbank-based animation management/production banner AniManagement has merged with Strader Entertainment, whose principal, Jim Strader, now will oversee the burgeoning feature film division of the combined companies.

Merged under the AniManagement shingle, Strader now will manage existing clients in addition to developing and producing pics under the companies’ newly established production arm.

As a manager, Strader has represented and helped guide the careers of such animation pros as Eric Fogel, creator of MTV’s “Celebrity Deathmatch”; DNA Prods., which is developing the 3D animated pic “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius” with Steve Oedekerk and Nickelodeon; and is producing for Matt Groening and Fox TV Studios “Olive the Other Reindeer,” a holiday special to air on Fox.

Strader also represents the Spike and Mike Animation Festivals and library; as well as writers Tom Murtagh (“Tom Asunder”), Mark Troy (“Sweet Tooth”) and Jim Cirile (“Bounty Hunters”).

“Jim brings with him a wealth of relationships in both the live-action and animation worlds,” AniManagement chairman Aaron Berger said. “That combined with his sensitivity for the artists’ vision makes him an ideal addition to our growing team.”

Strader formed his eponymous management/production banner in 1992 during production of the Showtime pilot “Weird America,” which Strader co-created and exec-produced.
