USA Networks Inc. Chairman and CEO Barry Diller sold 520,000 of his company’s shares last month at a price ranging from $45.38 to $48.13 a share, according to a filing Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
At an average price of $46.75 per share, that works out to a sale worth about $24.3 million.
Diller exercised options for a total of 595,000 shares on four separate days in August. He sold the shares the same day, except for a final batch of 75,000 shares that he still held at the end of the month.
At the end of August, Diller owned directly or indirectly 1.1 million shares of USA Networks out of a total of 167 million shares outstanding.
USA Networks stock dipped 1.3% Monday to $43.75.
