Italy’s De Laurentiis Cineplex has announced two executive appointments to help implement and manage its multiplex development plan.
Andrea Jachna has been named managing director. He will oversee the cineplex’s business including real estate, finance, operations and marketing. Jachna was previously an executive at Autogrill, a restaurant chain.
Alessio Coppola, tapped deputy managing director, will oversee theater site development. Since 1995, Coppola has served as development manager for United Cinemas International.
De Laurentiis Cineplex is a joint venture between Loews Cineplex International and Italy’s Filmauro. It was formed in May 1999 to develop, construct and operate movie theaters throughout Italy.
