Trio named sr. veeps, regional managers
John Attebery, James Kraus and Dave McNaney have been tapped senior VPs and regional sales managers at Carsey-Werner Domestic Television Distribution.
Attebery will oversee Carsey Werner broadcast and cable sales in the South and Southeast; Kraus, the Northeast and Midwest; and McNaney, the West.
“This move allows Carsey-Werner to more closely position itself to its regional customer base,” said Carsey-Werner Domestic TV prexy Robert Raleigh. “We’re establishing a system in which every interaction between our station partners and us produces a direct, satisfactory outcome.”
Since first teaming with Carsey-Werner in 1995, Attebery worked on the launches of series “Grace Under Fire,” “Profiler” and “3rd Rock From the Sun.” Prior to Carsey-Werner, Attebery was at Viacom, selling the shows “A Different World,” “Montel Williams” and “Roseanne.”
Kraus previously worked as exec VP, director of sales and marketing at MCA-Universal Television, supervising sales, research, creative services and distribution operations.
McNaney hails from Worldvision, where he last served as VP and Western Division Manager. While there, he was involved with the shows “Judge Judy,” “Joe Brown” and “7th Heaven.”
