C-W ups Coslow to VP

Exec to o'see casting

Carsey-Werner has upped Cara Coslow to vice president of casting at the TV production company.

“Cara brings to the table a wealth of knowledge and a knack for spotting fresh new talent,” Carsey-Werner prexy Caryn Mandabach said Monday. “No one is better with actors, agents and managers.”

Coslow joined Carsey-Werner in March 1997 as director of casting. She oversees casting on all Carsey-Werner shows, including “3rd Rock From the Sun,” “Cosby,” “That ’70s Show” and upcoming series including the midseason ani skein “God, the Devil and Bob.”

Coslow previously spent eight years at Paramount Network Television as an associate under exec Jeff Greenberg. While there, she assisted in casting shows such as “Frasier” and “Cheers.”
