Artisan Entertainment has promoted Andrew Golov to executive VP of production for Artisan Pictures.
Golov has served as the company’s senior veep of production, playing an integral role in all of Artisan’s recent releases, including “Stir of Echoes,” “The Limey,” “Foolish” and “The Blair Witch Project.”
Artisan prexy Bill Block said: “Andrew has surpassed our expectations with a proven track record of bringing productions in on time, on budget and managing extremely well the myriad of nuances that surround physical production.”
Prior to joining Artisan, Golov served as veep of physical production at Spelling Entertainment, where he worked on such pics as “In & Out” and “Thinner.”
Earlier in his career, Golov worked as a post-production supervisor at HBO, as a director of live-action development and production at Hanna-Barbera Prods., and as a development executive at NBC.
Golov has been involved in several upcoming Artisan releases, including Roman Polanski’s “The Ninth Gate,” “The Way of the Gun” and “Soul Survivors.”
