NEW YORK — In an effort to continue strengthening its marketing division, which has helped make “The Blair Witch Project” such a success, Artisan Entertainment has tapped Donna Bilotti as VP of audiovisual creative advertising.
In her new post, Bilotti will be responsible for the audiovisual campaigns for Artisan’s theatrical and homevid releases. She will oversee all of Artisan’s AV campaigns, which include TV/radio spots and trailers. Bilotti will report to John Hegeman, executive VP of theatrical marketing.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining (the people at) Artisan, who have proven themselves above and beyond with ‘The Blair Witch Project,’ ” Bilotti told Daily Variety.
Most recently, Bilotti was the director of advertising at Fox Searchlight, where she worked on the advertising campaigns for “Waking Ned Devine,” “The Full Monty” and “Slums of Beverly Hills.” Prior to joining Fox Searchlight, Bilotti worked for three years as manager of creative advertising for Buena Vista Pictures. At Buena Vista, she handled the advertising spots for “Grosse Pointe Blank” and “While You Were Sleeping”.
