All of NBC's latenight shows raise ratings
NEW YORK — NEW YORK — NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on Feb. 23 equaled its highest adult 18-49 rating of the season and was the highest-rated episode since Oct. 24, 1994.
The episode, which featured host/musical guest Garth Brooks and a guest appearance by Robert Duvall, scored a 6.2/26 in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen Media Research. The rating is a 27% increase compared to the “SNL” that aired a year ago.
NBC had a good week with its fringe shows overall. All nine of the Peacock’s latenight and daytime programs posted year-to-year growth in their core demos. The latenight shows — “SNL,” “Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” “Late Night With Conan O’Brien,” “Later,” and “Friday Night” — were up an average of 21% in adults 18-49 and 20% in adults 25-54.
