GUD to bring 10,000 p'gramming hours to Cannes
BERLIN — German United Distributors, a joint venture of major German studios and pubcasters, will have its international debut at the April 3-8 Mip TV market in Cannes.
Bavaria Film, Studio Hamburg and ARD member stations WDR and NDR have brought their TV distribution activities under the German United umbrella.
GU has about 10,000 hours of programming — 6,000 of which have been activated and cataloged. The company has three sales offices: Cologne, handling docus, kids and family programming; Munich, with fiction; and Hamburg, with wildlife, music and sports.
