Mandylor tagged for CBS’ ‘Martial Law’

Thesp to co-star with Hung in 'Walker' lead-in

Louis Mandylor has been cast opposite Sammo Hung in the upcoming CBS drama “Martial Law.”

Mandylor replaces Dale Midkiff, who could not remain with the show because CBS ordered “Magnificent Seven” again for midseason, and Midkiff was already a regular on that Western series.

The martial arts cop drama “Martial Law,” from 20th Century Fox and CBS Prods., is set to air Saturday nights at 9 p.m., leading into another martial arts drama, “Walker, Texas Ranger.”

Mandylor plays one of Hung’s two partners on the series, which is executive produced by Carlton Cuse, Andre Morgan and Stanley Tong.

Mandylor has appeared in films such as “The Quest” and “Necessary Roughness” and TV series such as “Nash Bridges,” “Can’t Hurry Love,” “Grace Under Fire” and “Down the Shore.”
