Three-year deal worth seven figures
Twentieth Century Fox TV has inked a three-year overall deal with “Family Guy” supervising producer Gary Janetti.
The seven-figure deal calls for Janetti to develop, create and produce comedy programming for the studio in addition to his work on Fox’s midseason animated comedy “Family Guy.”
“Family Guy” was created by 24-year-old Seth MacFarlane and is executive produced by MacFarlane and David Zucker-man. It’s an edgy half-hour animated comedy about a dysfunctional family, including a twisted baby trying to murder his mom.
Janetti was previously a co-producer of “Style & Substance,” and he worked on comedies such as “Pearl,” “The Naked Truth.” His earlier deal was at Disney.
The deal was brokered by 20th Century Fox prexy Sandy Grushow. Janetti is repped by Endeavor.
