Lane courtroom show goes wide Sept. 14

Rysher Entertainment’s new courtroom syndie strip “Judge Mills Lane,” which plans to go gavel to gavel with “Judge Judy” and “The People’s Court,” has received prelaunch clearance on 127 stations for its special four-week run before preeming Sept. 14 on an expanded 158 stations.

The show’s early run will debut Monday in over 80 percent of the country. When it officially premieres in September, “Judge Mills Lane” will be represented in over 90 percent of the marketplace.

In addition, about 65 markets are programming double runs of “Judge Mills Lane,” including KTLA in Los Angeles, WCIU in Chicago, WPHL in Philadelphia and WLVI in Boston. The show has landed the prime noon time slot on WPIX in New York leading out of the highly-rated “Jerry Springer Show.”
