HBO ‘Rat’ ratings mousy

Telepic generates weak 9.1 rating. 15 share

NEW YORK — A disappointing 6.64 million households, or 10.3 million people, tuned into HBO highly touted “The Rat Pack” Saturday. The two-hour made-for pic about the Frank Sinatra gang nabbed a 9.1 rating and 15 share in HBO homes, which translates into a national rating (including noncable households) of 2.8.

Despite a blizzard of hype, “Rat Pack” ended up as the third-highest-rated original movie scheduled by HBO this year, be-hind “Gia” and “A Bright Shining Lie.”

“Rat Pack” stars Ray Liotta as Sinatra, Joe Mantegna as Dean Martin and Don Cheadle as Sammy Davis Jr.
