Twentieth Century Fox Intl. Television has entered into a multiyear output agreement with Warsaw-based broadcaster Polsat.
Under the terms of the deal, Fox will provide Polsat with programming from its extensive library. The partnership includes exclusive territorial rights in Poland for a variety of Fox product, including “Titanic” and “Independence Day.” In addition, the agreement includes exclusive distribution rights to new series from 20th Century Fox Television beginning with the 1998-99 season.
“Fox is currently the hottest studio for film and television production, and we welcome the studio’s outstanding product for our rapidly growing businesses,” said Polsat’s Piotr Fajks in a statement.
