Forsythe joins TNT’s ‘Dollar’

Estevez, Long also star in western

William Forsythe (“Raising Arizona,” “Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead,” “The Rock”) has joined the cast of “A Dollar For the Dead,” a TNT Original telefilm co-produced by TNT, Once Upon a Time Films and Endemol Entertainment. It’s skedded to go before the cameras beginning next week in Spain.

Film, a post-Civil War Western described as ” ‘The Wild Bunch’ meets ‘The Treasure of the Sierra Madre,’ ” stars Emilio Estevez and Howie Long in the other key roles. Estevez and Forsythe portray an unlikely pair who team up to search for a lost Confederate treasure.

Stan Brooks executive produces “A Dollar For the Dead,” with Gene Quintana directing from his own script.

Kevin Stolper and Nick Stevens of UTA repped Forsythe, who is managed by Kimberly Hines.
