Error spotted in Emmy dates

Ballots should reach voters week of June 15

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has reported a correction to the 1998 Emmy rule book.

The regulation book currently states that Primetime Emmy nominating ballots are mailed during the week of June 1 and are generally expected to reach voters during the week of June 8. This information is incorrect.

In actuality, the ballots are mailed during the week of June 8 and should reach the voters the week of June 15. Voters who have not received their ballots by June 15 should contact ATAS. First deadline for Emmy entries was March 27.
