ATAS elects board peer group reps

25 new reps to serve two-year terms

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has elected peer group representatives to its board of governors.

The 25 newly elected and re-elected peer group reps will serve two-year terms. The peer groups oversee the judging of specialized Emmy Award categories, among other functions. The board members will be officially installed at ATAS’ October board meeting.

Newly elected peer group reps are: Robert Kurtz, for the animation group; Dwight Jackson, art directors/set directors; Donna Ekholdt, casting; Robin Schwartz, children’s programming; Frank Scherma, commercials; Mary Rose, costume design; John Ziffren, producers; Karen Miller, production execs; Richard Askin, telecom execs; and Don Greenberg, title design and special-visual effects.
