‘Any Day’ scores for Lifetime

'Maggie' fails to hold lead-in

NEW YORK — The premiere of Lifetime’s original drama “Any Day Now” got off to a good ratings start Tuesday, but the cable web’s original sitcom “Maggie” didn’t hold its lead-in.

Lifetime heavily promoted the launch of its original series, and it paid off for “Any Day Now,” which earned a 2.6 universe rating (1.9 million households) from 9-10 p.m., according to Nielsen Media Research. Lifetime averages a 1.7 universe rating in primetime.

“Maggie” lost 21% of the rating of “Any Day Now” with a 1.5 universe rating (1.1 million households) from 10-10:30 p.m. At 10:30 p.m., “Oh Baby” improved slightly over “Maggie” with a 1.6 universe rating.
