ABC sets preem dates for most of its fall sked

Majority of shows to launch Sept. 22 through Sept. 27

The ABC Television Network announced that the majority of its fall schedule will premiere Tuesday, Sept. 22 through Sunday, Sept. 27.

The shows that premiere outside that week include NFL “Monday Night Football,” which makes its season premiere Monday, Sept. 7, at 8 p.m. (5 p.m. PT). And “Vengeance Unlimited” will make its premiere Thursday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m.

Also, ABC News’ “20/20” will premiere with its new Wednesday edition on Sept. 16 at 10 p.m. “20/20” will make its Friday season premiere Sept. 18 at 10 p.m. and its Sunday season premiere Sept. 20 at 9 p.m.

The Alphabet also web will announce premiere dates for “The Drew Carey Show,” “NYPD Blue,” “The Secret Lives of Men” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos” shortly.

ABC kicks off its Thursday night movie Sept. 24 an hour earlier than its usual 9 p.m. time with Warner Bros.’ “Executive Decision,” starring Kurt Russell, Halle Berry and Steven Seagal.

“The Wonderful World of Disney” will begin its second season Sunday, Sept. 27, with the world television premiere of the hit Disney feature “George of the Jungle.”
