Warner Bros. pulled off the Gotham premiere of its “A Perfect Murder” on Monday night, screening the film at Sony Lincoln Square with an after-party at the Tavern on the Green.
Warner co-CEO and chairman Terry Semel was in town to host the event, along with helmer Andrew Davis and producers Peter MacGregor-Scott and Arnold and Anne Kopelson. And at the center of attention were the pic’s stars, Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow and Viggo Mortensen.
Guests at the fete tapped their toes to the tunes of two different bands, sipped cocktails mixed at a martini bar and smoked cigars from a rolling station set up in the Tavern’s garden. Among the crowd were Warner Bros.’ new head of marketing, Brad Ball, as well as Miramax co-chairman Harvey Weinstein, Paul Sorvino, Griffen Dunne, Diane von Furstenberg, Fiona Apple, Billy Baldwin, Jann Wenner, Reuben Blades and models Veronica Webb and Alek Wek.
