HOLLYWOOD — Drummer Tommy Lee isn’t likely to be hearing “You rock!” — the often-repeated phrase heard during his infamous homevideo in which he has sex with wife Pamela Lee — anytime soon.
The Motley Crue member was sentenced Wednesday to six months in L.A. County Jail for pleading no contest to felony spousal abuse charges.
Lee was led in handcuffs from the Malibu courtroom to immediately begin serving his sentence.
He was given a three-year state prison sentence, but the sentence was suspended by L.A. Superior Court Judge Lawrence J. Mira — the same judge who recently th rew the book at actor Robert Downey Jr.
Lee must stay out of trouble, perform 200 hours of community service and avoid drugs and alcohol during his three-year probation. He also must stay at least 100 yards away from his wife during that period.
If he violates Mira’s terms, which included a $5,000 donation to Sojourn, a shelter for battered women, he’ll been sent to a California State Prison facility to begin serving the three-year sentence.
Lee was arrested in February at the couple’s home for kicking Pamela Lee several times in the back as she held their 7-week old son, Dylan. She filed for divorce shortly after the attack and was not present during the sentencing hearing.
With good behavior credits and jail overcrowding, Lee could be out in less than half the time.
