Scott Jellen

Scott Jellen, a lighting technician who worked on the film “True Lies” and television shows such as “The Nanny” and “Profiler,” died Friday in Van Nuys of an unspecified work-related accident at his company’s warehouse. He was 25.

Jellen was president and owner of Liteworks Illumination and Power and was a member of IATSE Local 728.

In addition to his film and television work, Jellen provided lighting services for many events handled by King Dahl Event Design.

He is survived by his father, Robert, and a brother.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Hillside Mortuary in Culver City.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the City of Hope Cancer Research Fund.
